Welcome to Grassy Lake Retrievers, owned and operated by myself, Matthew Huff. Training and handling has been an interest and passion of mine since receiving my first lab, Mattie. Like most, I think the love of this great sport takes over from the time you own your first pup.  Mattie came to me as a gift in 2002 and I quickly learned the responsibility and time it would take to make this chocolate bundle into a champion.  Mattie gave me the vision to start Grassy Lake Retrievers, which gives me the opportunity to give back what so many gave to me.  Soon after Mattie received her HRCH in 2004, Grassy Lake Retrievers was born. 

My specialization is in Retriever Training, but I also offer Large Breed Obedience, All Breed Boarding, and Retriever Puppies for sale. I do have experience with running UKC events and am interested in running AKC and SRS events as well.  I am dedicated to the needs of my clients and their retrievers.
